Tesla SpaceX Design
The shape of the Tesla SpaceX Model R has nothing to do with the roadster and ultimately looks much more radical. Indeed, it has a form more akin to a racing car prototype than a traditional street car and features LED headlights neatly integrated into the bulging front wheel arches. The glass cabin is positioned at the front of the vehicle, and aerodynamic covers give the impression of a model from a sci-fi movie rather than an everyday car. Schneider’s design will have only an electric powertrain but also rockets with liquid hydrogen fuel. This will give a combined power of 2600 hp for the “standard” car and allow it to accelerate to a top speed of 467 km/h (290 mph). The sports version with a 2950 hp powertrain will enable the car to reach a top speed of 526 km/h (327 mph).
